English as a Second Language (ESL) - this program is designed to meet the cultural, social, and language needs of students from homes where English is not the first language learned or spoken.  It promotes the growth of beginning English language skills to the academic language of the classroom. Chorus - The Stillmeadow Community Singers is an enrichment program consisting of students from grades one through five with support from volunteer parents.  The vocal ensemble was designed so students from every grade level would be able to help others and give each other a sense of purpose and unity.  This group practices once a week during the school year.  They have marched in numerous parades, entertained at the Stamford Towne Center, opened the press conference for the first two Holiday Spectacular parades, and entertained at corporate holiday parties.  They have sung at the Stamford tree lighting ceremonies, performed at Purdue Pharma for the unveiling of the Volunteer stamp, entertained at a senior citizen day care center and for the Stamford city.

Instrumental Music and Band - students in fourth and fifth grades are taught musical instruments, which include flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, violin, cello, and drum.  The band performs in school and participates in various parades in Stamford.
