Kathleen Kelley - Principal 

  Kathleen Kelley began her SPS career as a classroom teacher at Stillmeadow in 1987, later becoming a grade level leader and teacher mentor. She served as Stillmeadow’s Administrative Intern  from 2014 to 2017 where she  managed the Alliance and Title 1 grants, served on the data team, and designed and supervised the after school enrichment program. Mrs. Kelley was Assistant Principal at Davenport Ridge Elementary from 2017 to 2023, where she served as the Special Education Administrator,  and was the Elementary Head Teacher for the District’s Summer School Program in 2017. A three-time Teacher of the Year nominee, she returned to Stillmeadow as Interim Principal in August 2023. Mrs. Kelley earned a Bachelors in Family and Community Services from the University of Massachusetts, a Masters in Education from Fordham University, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Administration and Supervision from Fairfield University. She has professional certifications in K-6 Elementary Education (CT 013) and K-12 Intermediate Administration or Supervision (CT 092). She is a lifelong resident of Stamford and graduate of Stamford Public Schools, as is her husband and their two children.
 

Marshell Medley - Assistant Principal

  Marshell Medley joined Stillmeadow Elementary as Assistant Principal in July 2024. She began her SPS career as a Speech Language Pathologist at Roxbury, Westover, and Toquam Elementary from 2009 to 2016. She moved to the central office as the District’s IEP Compliance Support Teacher from 2016 to 2020, working with the IEP teams in each school to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements related to the identification and education of students with disabilities. She was an administrative intern at Roxbury Elementary School from 2020 to 2022, and also served as the Special Education Head Teacher for the SPS Summer School Program in 2021. She was named the Assistant Director of Special Education for Stamford Public Schools in Fall 2023. Earlier in her career, Ms. Medley worked as a Speech Language Pathologist for New Haven Public Schools and the Los Angeles Unified School District. A graduate of Stamford Public Schools, Medley earned a Bachelor of Arts in English/Journalism from the College of New Rochelle, and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders and a Certificate in Intermediate Administration from Southern Connecticut State University. She has professional certifications in Speech Language Pathology (CT 061) and K-12 Intermediate Administration or Supervision (CT 092).
