Stillmeadow was the first Stamford Public School to adopt RULER - an evidence based approach for integrating social and emotional learning into schools; developed by the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence.

Stillmeadow utilizes the Bill or Responsibilities that clearly defines expectations for student conduct, including treating others with respect, fairness, compassion, and courtesy.

Specialized Programs supporting students with special needs in our TEAM and CORE classes. These students are learning in an approach where Together Everyone Achieves More with specialized services being provided as part of the class learning model, and Creating Opportunities for Readiness and Exploration.

Our Media Center is the Hub of our school supporting love for literature, Enrichment, Research and STEAM learning, as well as technology learning for a full integration of a blended learning model for all students.
